Excellent post! This will help many, many people. I used to "assist" my common-law wife, as required, to do many tasks the rest of us take for granted. If she had not passed away 6 years ago, I'd still be assisting her. Until one is faced with a situation requiring the use of a wheelchair - one can never appreciate how awkward and cumbersome it can be!
