Manchester United legend Andrei Kanchelskis is open to the idea of coaching in the Malaysian leagues.

If Manchester United legend agent sbobet Andrei Kanchelskis gets his way, he could open a managerial chapter in Malaysia after signaling his interest to manage in the Malaysian league.

“It is not a problem if it (the club) is a right fit. I don’t know much about Malaysian football, but it may be a good thing because the atmosphere and football culture here is different,” Kanchelskis told Berita Harian.

The former Red Devils winger, who made 123 appearances for United between 1991 to 1995 was invited by Kuala Lumpur FA as part of their fans meet-and-greet session this week.

The Russian was also present at the Kuala Lumpur-Kelantan FA match on Tuesday, and was clearly enjoying himself watching the City Hawks score five goals at Cheras Stadium.

Besides that, Kanchelskis also met with the PKNP FC team.

Kanchelskis, who was Sir Alex Ferguson’s signing, further endeared himself to the local fans by praising the country.

“This is my second time in Malaysia. Your country is beautiful and peaceful,” added the 49-year-old.

Kanchelskis had won two English Premier League titles, an FA Cup and European Super Cup among others with United, before he moved to Everton.

After his playing career ended in 2006, the skillful flanker in his heyday moved into football agent sbobet management.

He had managed mostly in the Russian league, with his most recent stint being with FC Solyaris Moscow in 2016.

But the question is, would someone like Kanchelskis who has hardly any understanding of the local culture and how Malaysian football works, succeed?

If his bittersweet journey as a footballer is taken into account, then you wouldn’t put past this man to make a name for himself in a new football climate.

Kanchelskis has endured the highs and lows that football has to offer, from winning titles to allegations of gambling debts to mafia involvement, to receiving hate mail when he chose to play for Russia instead of his native Ukraine. agent sbobet
