What is a somatoform disorder?

I would like to get your definition of somatic distress: What is exactly a somatoform disorder?

Why would a somatoform disorder be classified as a mental health problem?

I don't get it.

The social matrix of behavior and interpersonal communication is a complex psychosomatic component of human life.

Our society is defined by neurovariations in the genome which defines our external personality and psychological firmware.

Things like the Internet and technology defines us in the cyberworld, and creates a social matrix.

Communication is not a pathology or a "mental disease"; It is how humans evolved in nature to become social beings.

So, is there a global social matrix or drug which is biologically relevant to our psychosomatic status?

In specific, how do antidepressants may provides psychosomatic improvement?

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
